How do I move my data to a new iPad?

  1. Old iPad: go to Settings → Cloud Backup and run a manual backup. Confirm the backup time updated.
  2. New iPad: install DingPOS and complete the setup wizard.
  3. New iPad: go to Settings → Cloud Backup, connect the same cloud account, and restore.

Tapping Restore first opens a preview: this iPad's and the snapshot's product, order, and customer counts side by side, plus every order the restore would remove. Nothing on this iPad changes until you confirm. A snapshot made by a newer version of DingPOS asks you to update the app first. Product photos are restored too.

A restore replaces all data on this iPad with the backup — orders created on this iPad after that backup will be gone. Make sure you're connected to the right cloud account; if you restore the wrong one, use Undo Restore.
