How do I back up my data?

Go to Settings → Cloud Backup, pick one of iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox, and authorize it. After that you can trigger a backup manually anytime. For iCloud, this iPad must be signed in to iCloud with iCloud Drive turned on and DingPOS allowed to use it.

Backups go into your own cloud account. Each cloud keeps only the latest one — one data snapshot and one file of product photos — and every backup overwrites the previous one.

Because a new backup replaces the old one, if you suspect your data has already gone wrong (say, a batch of products deleted by mistake), don't back up yet — email us and we'll work out the next step together.
