Terms of Use

Welcome to DingPOS. Please read the following Terms of Use carefully before using the app. By downloading, installing, or using DingPOS, you agree to be bound by these terms.

License

ALU Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use DingPOS on your devices to run your business. This license is for your retail operations.

Subscription & payment

DingPOS offers a 30-day full-feature free trial from first install. After the trial, a subscription of NT$299 per month (via App Store In-App Purchase) is required to continue using checkout; browsing and product management remain available and your data is never deleted. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store account settings. Purchased subscriptions support restore.

Restrictions

When using the app, you agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile the app
• Modify, translate, or create derivative works
• Remove any copyright notices or labels within the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

Your data & backups

All business content you create in DingPOS (products, orders, customers, members, and settings) is stored on your device and is your sole responsibility. If you delete the app or clear its data, all stored information is permanently lost unless you have enabled cloud backup. Cloud backups reside in the cloud account you choose (iCloud / Google Drive / Dropbox) and their availability and retention are governed by that provider's terms of service. We cannot recover any data for you. You are also responsible for complying with the tax, invoicing, and consumer-protection laws applicable to where you operate.

App updates

We may release app updates from time to time to improve features, fix issues, or enhance security. We recommend keeping the app up to date for the best experience.

Disclaimer

DingPOS is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will operate uninterrupted or be entirely error-free. DingPOS is a tool to assist your operations; the ultimate accuracy of tax calculations, stock quantities, and all amounts, as well as compliance with local regulations, remain your responsibility to verify. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Limitation of liability

In no event shall ALU Studio's liability for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the event. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, lost revenue, device damage, or any other loss.

Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Modified terms take effect immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
