Will physical barcode scanners be supported?
Camera barcode scanning for product setup is already supported. Physical scanners (USB / Bluetooth) aren't officially supported yet — like other hardware features, they need devices purchased for testing and development, and will be planned as the user base grows.
The checkout search field matches barcodes, so a scanner in keyboard mode could in theory type into it and pull up products — but we haven't verified this on real hardware, so it's not officially supported. If you've tested a scanner that works, tell us the model!
