How do I create products with variants?

In the product edit page, tap Add Option under Variant Options to add an option (e.g. “Color”), then use “+ Value” to add each of its choices (e.g. Red, Blue). With two or more options (e.g. Color × Size), DingPOS expands every combination for you (Red/S, Red/M, Blue/S…).

Once a product has variants, its Price field folds away and each combination gets its own price under Variant Pricing & Stock, with its own stock (since v3.2; earlier versions still ask for a product price). The cashier, product list, and product detail show a range from the lowest to the highest price, like “NT$350–NT$390”, or a single price when every combination costs the same; sorting by price uses the lowest combination price. At checkout, tapping the product shows a variant picker before adding it to the cart.

You don't have to enter a cost for every combination: an empty Cost field means Follows product, so it uses the product's cost and changes when that does. A number makes it Own cost — 0 included. Use product cost for all clears every own cost at once.
