Every person gets their own private page combining a photo and bio, personal notes, body measurements, and guided conversation questions.

Sotto is for anyone who wants a private, judgment-free place to remember details about the people they care about — partners, family, close friends, or anyone whose preferences and stories are easy to lose track of. Think of it as a personal CRM for the people you love rather than for sales or networking: simple and gentle, not a full contacts database.

Sotto is free to download, and the free version covers up to 5 people, with up to 10 fields and 5 notes per person, plus all 8 color themes. A single one-time purchase adds custom fields and removes those limits for good — there is no subscription.

No — Sotto requires no sign-up and no login, and all core features work without an internet connection. Everything you enter is stored locally on your device. If you choose to use the optional backup, you connect your own iCloud (iPhone only), Google Drive or Dropbox account, and the backup file lands in storage you control.

For each person's page, Sotto lets you save a photo and bio, personal notes, and any of 130 built-in fields — from birthdays and allergies to favorite food and gift ideas — plus fields you create yourself. 23 of them cover sizes and measurements, like height, shoe size and a ring size for every finger, with unit conversion, so you never have to secretly ask someone's size before buying a gift.

Yes — turn on a reminder for any date field, such as a birthday or an anniversary, and Sotto notifies you 7 days before, at 9:00 in the morning, every year. Reminders are set per person and per date, so you only hear about the dates you chose. A date whose year you don't know still works: Sotto keeps the month and day for the reminder.

Yes — Sotto includes a catalog of 323 conversation-starter questions. Pick one when you're not sure what to ask, and it opens a fresh note prefilled with that question, ready for their answer.

Yes — Sotto stores all of your data locally on your device and never uploads it to Alu Studio's servers. The app does not collect personally identifiable information, track your location, use advertising SDKs, or share your content with any third party. The only time your data leaves your device is when you explicitly run the optional backup to your own cloud storage.
